TRACK REVIEW: Interpol – All The Rage Back Home

Interpol_by_Julie_Wagenaar

Paul Banks croons over Daniel Kessler’s sporadic riff in the gloomy intro to Interpol’s new single ‘All The Rage Back Home’; then the song kicks in with a driving rhythm and I remember why I loved Interpol in the first place. After the disappointment that was their 2010 album ‘Interpol’ and the departure of uber talented bassist Carlos Dengler, could the New York band’s forthcoming album ‘El Pintor’ be a return to form? If this single is anything to go by then it might just be.

El Pintor is out 9th Sept via Matador
